How to Submit a Time-Off Request

STEP 1: Initiate New Time Off Request

Login to your HoneycombHR account - https://hroptions.honeycombhr.com/

In the “Timesheets” module, select the drop-down for Additional Options next to “Current Timesheet”

Click “New Time Off Request"

STEP 2: Add PTO entries

After initiating a Time-Off Request, use the calendar to select the first day that you are requesting time off

Select the appropriate PTO code (i.e. Sick or Vacation)

Enter the Start and End Times of your time off request

Press Save

Note: If you are requesting more than one day, add additional days/time prior to submitting the request.

 

STEP 3: Review & Submit

When you have finished adding all PTO entries to the Unsubmitted Time-Off Request,

Click “Review & Submit” below Calendar view

Review the Request Summary to be sure you entered the correct information (Days, hours, PTO type, etc.)

Click “Submit Timesheet Request” when ready to submit.

Note: Your Supervisor will be notified that you have submitted a Time-Off Request for their approval.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Available Balance

  • Your Timesheet Available PTO balance(s) will be adjusted when your PTO hours are Approved
  • Your Paystub Available PTO balance(s) will be adjusted when your PTO hours are Taken.

Time-Off Request Status

  • You can find your Time-Off Request(s) under the “Current Timesheet” dropdown. 
  • The request will note a status: Unsubmitted, Pending Approval, Approved, or Denied. 
  • When your Time-Off Request has been Approved/Denied by your supervisor, you will receive an automated message from HoneycombHR 

Canceling or Making Changes to a Time-Off Request

  • You can "Cancel Request" or "Recall to Make Adjustments" to any Time-Off Request by clicking on the individual request located in the Current Timesheet drop-down for Additional Options
  • If Recalling to Make Adjustments, please follow STEP 2 & 3 above.
